EID REMINDER

~ EID REMINDER ~
Asalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh!
Allahu Akbar! It’s Eid!
May Allah accept the good deeds from us and from you.
Alhamdulillah for completing this blessed month. Allahu Akbar for the guidance from Allah. Alhamdulillah on the blessing of Islam and for being Muslims.
These are just a few reminders for this blessed day.
Beloved sisters, let us remember to stay within the bounds of halal set by Allah and keep your actions of happiness within the Islamic limits, and you will find that Allah will look after you. Indeed, real happiness comes only from Him. Do not disobey Him. Remember, Shaytan is now set free.
Remember to observe proper hijab when you go out to pray Eid, And no intermingling with the opposite gender, refrain from spending way too much and doing israaf in eating, spending time in wasteful haram actions like backbiting, etc. Don’t give away and destroy your hard work and patiently striven for good deeds of Ramadan that easily.
And Allah is the source of all Strength and Ability.
Also, please, do not forget our brothers, sisters and children who are suffering in Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Burma, and the other Muslim countries. They are being oppressed, and many of them do not even have bread to celebrate their Eid with.
Don’t forget your brothers and sisters in your duas. May Allah aid us, the Muslims, and help us overcome our enemies.
Give Zakat-ul-Fitr. It’s obligatory (you can search for details on reliable sites like Islamqa and Islamweb).
Thank Allah for the blessing of being able to celebrate this Eid with your loved ones in safety and peace. Indeed, not everyone has this blessing.
Don’t forget to make lots of dhikr, especially takbeer and tahmeed for the guidance Allah gave us, and thank Him for allowing us to reach and complete Ramadan. We should also beg Allah to accept our deeds.
Another way of knowing how our deeds of Ramadan have been accepted is seeing if we become changed and better people after Ramadan and Eid – or will we return back to our old sinful selves?
Will we pray qiyaam like we used to in Ramadan on Eid night too? Will we make du’a in the last third of the night like we used to? Indeed, Eid is not blessed if we leave off worshipping and praising Allah the way we did in Ramadan. May Allah save us from hypocrisy!
May Allah accept all of our deeds.
May Allah bless you all for your patience, elevate your rank in Paradise, and enter happiness and peace into your hearts!
Having said that, be grateful, be happy, rejoice, and have fun! Greet your relatives! Stay away from haram and upon us is to fear Allah in every situation.
Don’t forget to remember Allah who has blessed you with all this.
