Day 7! Subhaana Allah one week down…Alhamdulillah ala kulli haal…
Dhikr of the Day
اللهم إني أسألك الهدى والتقى والعفاف و السداد و الغنى
Allahuma inni asalukal hudaa wattuqaa wal 3afafa was sadaada wal ghinaa..

Action of the Day
Well for today, we will check our nufus (sing. nafs) and try to discover the small faults “lamam” we have been doing and finally train ourselves to STOP DOING THEM!
❣Allah says (Surah Al-Qiyamah, verse 14):
بَلِ الْإِنسَانُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ بَصِيرَةٌ
Nay! Man is evidence against himself.
You are the one who knows ur nafs very well! What’s inside that small heart is between you and your Lord.
You know very well deep down there you are doing a wrong thing yet we still do it, sometimes out of forgetfulness and habit while at other times it’s simply just doing intentionally.
Small faults and #MinorSins shouldn’t be ignored.
Let’s look at an example :
An empty bucket is ordered to be filled with water, but by keeping small small amounts of water in it; so what the person did was that he went and fetched water and poured into the bucket. Next time, he did the same; and after almost 30 minutes, the bucket is full, and it became very heavy for him to carry it along.
That’s how minor sins are. The empty bucket is your nafs and the small portions of water are the small/minor sins. The bucket became heavy, and that is how our nafs is. It becomes used to doing the small sins and small sins end up being big/major sins.
Some of the small sins we do are:
Looking/gazing of the opposite gender excluding spouses.
Cheating through jokes; it seems funny, but you added lies into it, then who’s at loss?
Shouting at people in a loud, demanding voice, which violates the victim’s rights.
And many more…
So, what we will do today is:
Take time to think about a small sin you do. You can’t say you don’t have small sins, unless Allah has mercy on you and He spares you from them. If you are a human, you are bound to make faults.
Make sure you try your best to leave the sin. Make your niyyah to stop it. Remember: If it is not forgiven, fear the Fire of Jahannam…
Thirdly, make this noble change of a lifetime in the holy month.
May Allah help us all. Ameen.
A mountain is made up of small stones joining together to form a big stone. Never Neglect the small sins we do. They might be a cause for us not to smell the fragrance of Jannah.
ونعوذ بالله من ذلك.
We seek refuge in Allah from that.
Pondering time for your nafs has come. Take the opportunity to rectify your mistakes. Make tawbah now! Death has no age.
Think twice before you act!
