Ramadan Reminders 2018: Day 13

⭐⭐⭐
DAY 13
⭐⭐⭐

Assalamu alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Bismillah…

DHIKR OF THE DAY
Train yourself this month to:-
Daily recite the morning and evening adhkars.
“… and glorify the praises of your Lord before the rising of the sun, and before its setting.”( 20:130)
Memorise even if few duas and keep it constant to always recite them this whole Ramadan and afterwards. We tend to neglect them, yet scholars say it’s more IMPORTANT than the food we eat!
“There is no one who says (adhkar) in the morning of every day and the evening of every night … nothing will harm him.” (at-Tirmidhi)
Allah Akbar! It’s a shield! Yes! Allah is the protector! We need to seek that protection by doing what is right.

ACTION OF THE DAY
Train your siblings/kids this month to:-
Keep reciting adhkars consistently!
Therefore remember Me, I will remember you, and be grateful to Me, and reject not faith.’ (Quran, 1:152)
And for men and women who engage much in Allah’s remembrance, for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward.’ (Quran, 33:35)
Learn the benefits of reciting these adhkars and appreciate how something simple can actually have a heavy scale on the Day of Judgement!
So learn, share and spread and keep it consistent to recite them! Do it once and time yourself how many minutes do you actually take? It won’t even reach 30 mins! Sometimes we need to evaluate ourselves: How many hours do we spend on our gadgets, yet 30 mins seems like 30 hours?! So let’s let the Sunnah go forth by actually reciting the adhkars with sincerity.
Here are a few tips from a mother:
1. Learn the rewards of a certain adhkar (daily reminder).
2. When you are teaching your young kids/siblings to recite the adhkar, make it seem interesting, engaging, and lively to them by actually mentioning the reward first.
Example:
Mom/sister: Who would like to ask Allah to build a house in Paradise for him/her?
Of course, you’ll get a big: ME!
Mom: So what should we read?
Kids: this dua, ” …” (As they start reciting it, you join in with them.)
It may seem tiring, especially the evening adhkars during iftar timings, but it is also permissible to actually read it few hours before Maghrib prayer! So make it a special moment where we link ourselves to our Creator!
After few weeks of the same routine, your siblings/kids will actually remind you that they haven’t  built a house in Paradise so they need to recite the adhkars for Allah to build one for them. 😍
Time spent with young ones is NEVER wasted. It counts as ibaadah, for it’s your responsibility to raise and guide them.
Have a blessed day! Keep building houses in Paradise. 😉
May Allah accept it from us all.
