Ramadan Reminders 2018: Day 14

⭐⭐⭐
DAY 14
⭐⭐⭐

Assalamu alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Bismillah…

DHIKR OF THE DAY
Train yourself this month to:-
Say this dua every time you dress up:

الحمد لله الذي كساني هذا الثوب و رزقنيه من غير حولي مني ولا قوة.

_Alhamdulillahi lladhy kasaany hadha thawbu warazaqanihi min ghayri hawli minny walla Quwah._
Narrated by Mu’adh ibn Anas: The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “If anyone puts on a garment and says: ‘Alhamdulillah lladhy kasaany hadha thawbu warazaqanihi min ghayri hawli minny walla Quwah. (Praise be to Allah Who has clothed me with this and provided me with it through no might and power on my part),’ he will be forgiven his former and later sins.” (Abu Dawud )
Learn other common duas from the book Hisnul Muslim on what to say when you enter toilet or when you go out and other actions and actually implement these duas in your daily life.
This is the next move we are taking after replacing our speech with the correct islamic ones. Now let’s change our way of how we perform any act; i.e., always say the specific dua for that act before performing it.

ACTION OF THE DAY
Train yourself this month to:-
1. Share your knowledge! Each day we learn something good or some new deed. If we share this with others, we will get the same reward. The Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Whoever guides [another] to a good deed will get a reward similar to the one who performs it.”
There’s always something that you always want to question about as you lack knowledge in it. Go to the authentic sites we have provided on our reference page on the website and just Google it, learn about it, and share with us as well.
It may be something simple and basic in the sense every Muslim must know about it, but knowing about it doesn’t make acting on it. A good example is today’s dhikr reminder, who isn’t aware of it? Who practices on it every single day, who actually reads it before wearing the dress?
So let’s share some gems of knowledge and we act on it today, in shaa Allah!🙂
Change your words: “I don’t know such-and-such a ruling” to “Alhamdulillah, I know.”
2. Put the duas you learnt from Hisnul Muslim into practice; that is, whenever you want to go out say the dua first. Whenever you want to wear a dress, say the specific dua for it; whenever you want to enter the toilet, say the dua. Learn the duas.
Say dua before any action! For today, it’s studying and learning. 😊
Please share with us as well so that we learn.
Baaraka Allah feekum.
