Ramadan Dhikr Course – Day 5

DAY 5:

Dear all,
Day 5!! Alhamdulillah
Dhikr of the day..Excited to know right??
It’s… “Sending Salutations to our Beloved Prophet”
Say this as much as you can and whenever you remember it… Ma shaa Allah…Today is a blessed day for us…
Let’s go to Action of the day…
I hope yesterday we did cleanse our Hearts and made them as clear as a crystal and so…it’s ready to be filled with love for Allah and others…
For today, we will do something special for special people you are excited to know right..? Well it’s…
“Telling Mummy and Daddy that we Love them and Appreciate whatever they have done to us till now”
That’s very simple but might be hard for some of us. If your parents are not around with you anymore, it doesn’t mean we exclude you, but, the best gift you can do is pray for them. They are in need of your prayers all the time.
Allah says:
Surah Al-Isra, Verse 24:
And make yourself submissively gentle to them with compassion, and say: O my Lord! Have compassion on them, as they brought me up (when I was) little.
Surah Al-Isra, Verse 23:
And your Lord has commanded that you shall not serve (any) but Him, and goodness to your parents. If either or both of them reach old age with you, say not to them (so much as) “Ugh” nor chide them, and speak to them a generous word.
Allah is commanding us to 👆🏻speak generous words. Among the words are loving words…
If you are a parent and reading this message, I am sure you know exactly how it feels when your child tells you,” I love you mum/dad” And not after doing something for them, but out of the blue. Parents get shocked and they get emotional. Just tell them how you appreciate their unpaid love and care they showed for you.
It’s a good act which has rewards biidnillah…
Some might say. I have the worst parents on earth and am not going to tell them I love you…no way at all!
Hey slow down…Didn’t we clean our hearts yesterday. Yes, we did clean our hearts…just give them their rights…Allah knows your struggles…so don’t worry at all..
Believe me after saying those words. See their reaction. It’s either a smile or a cry, or even a dumbfounded look. It depends on how frequently you tell them that. But trust me, it touched their hearts. They might not show it, but deep down there, there’s something going on…
Soooo…take a deep breath, talk to your parents give them a hug (if they are with you…otherwise this can be skipped) and tell them you love them. How cute,  right?
It’s a noble act so take advantage of it in a holy month…
#be courageous #be loving #be just…
Smile! It’s Sunnah!!
