Ramadhan Dhikr Course – Day 4

DAY 4:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

ربي اشرح لي صدري و يسر لي أمري

Dear all,
Day 4!! Is finally with us. Alhamdulillah
Dhikr of today is…
اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعفوا عنا
Allahuma innaka Afuwun tuhibul Afwa fa3fu3ana
O Allah You are Most Forgiving, and You love Forgiveness, so forgive me.
You might be saying this Dua almost every day…since Ramadan started…
Alhamdulillah for that. But today we will single it out for some special action that will accompany it below…
Kind of excited to know, Action of the day…
Well it’s easy in saying but really tough in practising it…
It’s none other than “Forgiving the One Who wronged you”
Yes!! That’s what we will do for today…
Take a few minutes to think of the person/people who wronged and who is/are still doing bad to you, yet you  are having patience…
Yes!! Those people in your mind right now…  You need to forgive them. Get them out of your heart!!
Allah forgives our mistakes, what about you to your fellow human?
I know for some may be thinking,”What!! I will never ever forgive so and so for all the sufferings he/she did to me”…
Well, you might be right it’s not easy to forgive, but you can still try to forgive…Just forgive for Allah’s sake. Please.
Everyone in this world has someone/people who make their nerves go up whenever they meet them…It’s the inbuilt anger for what they did to you. Having anger is something normal, but don’t exceed the limit…
How do you know if you have forgiven someone:
Let’s look at what we mean by forgiving
It simply means: Letting go of the hatred/pain that has built up in your heart because of something that was done to you and you disliked that action. Just let it pass. Don’t think over it again and again…
Remember the one who forgives has the highest rank in the eyes of Allah…whoever doesn’t show mercy to others, Allah won’t show mercy to him. As per the hadeeth… please have mercy on the person by just forgiving…?
Have a small flashback…when I asked you to remember who wronged you..did the person act badly to you…did that happen this year, or since last Ramadan??
If your answer is last Ramadhan and whenever you remember that, you feel angry about it then …my friend …you haven’t let it go..☹ You still have it in your heart and hence you haven’t fully forgiven.
True in the sense that it’s not easy to forget what was done to you in a bad way, but surprisingly, we (humans) easily forget the good that was done to us…
Whenever you remember someone and what he/she did to you and you find itself reacting in a negative way towards it then..you haven’t forgiven…
So in a nutshell, for today we will take time to cleanse our hearts.
What’s the benefit of fasting while you have grudges on someone? Sawm is supposed to make u free of sins…as per the hadeeth:
من صام رمضان إيماناً و احتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه..
Whoever fasts Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah’s rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven.
Ramadhan is cleansing month for our souls, so that we can make the best out of it…
What’s the use of keeping someone stuck in your life…life has to go on…#Your choice to either let it stay in your heart and bring you more pain, or let it go and live this life full of happiness to please your Lord. ..
#Thinking about what was done to you doesn’t make you move ahead in life, but rather you end up carrying it with you all along and hence, it doesn’t benefit you…
Shukraan wa jazaka Allah khairan..Have a blessed day..
Smile. Let go of it and move on in life…

بارك الله فيكم
وجزاكم الله خيرا
سبحانك اللهم وبحمدك أشهد أن لا إله إلا أنت استغفرك و أتوب إليك

والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
