Ramadan Dhikr Course – Day 25

RAMADAN DHIKR COURSE
DAY 25:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

ربي اشرح لي صدري و يسر لي امري

Dhikr of the Day
اللهم اجعل القرآن حجّةََ لنا وما علينا يوم القيامة
Allahuma ij’alil Qur’aan Hujjatan lanaa wa maa ‘alaynaa yawmal Qiyama
Ya Allah, make the Qur’aan testify for us and not against us on the Day of Resurrection.
Subhaana Allah, look at how beautiful this dua is, and also how scary it is!
The Qur’aan will either testify for you and become your pass to Jannah or it will testify against you and be a pass to Jahannam.
Let’s read the above du’a with sincere hearts and ikhlas lillah.
Action of the Day
Do you read the Qur’aan while in a state of wudhu?
Well, let’s have a look at these two situations:
1⃣ Reading Qur’aan without wudhu (ablution): One gets rewards just for recitation and reflection on the Words of Allah bi’idnillah and this is a two-in-one act.
2⃣ Reading Qur’aan with wudhu: One gets rewards for following a sunnah act as well as the rewards for recitation and reflection on the words, a three-in-one act.
If you are a worker who is paid and you were told: If you increase your working hours by just two minutes, we will pay you more, which one will you go for?
Getting an increment in salary for just two minutes extra of work!
What would you choose?
Now, let’s analyse the given example:
The work without any increase in salary is reciting without wudhu.
The two minutes of work is making wudhu—it takes even less than a minute for some of us. Make sure you’re doing wudhu properly!
Working for salary with increment is recitation with wudhu.
It’s your choice. If the water is cold, warm it up. Keep some in a bucket or bowl where it can easily be accessed; and if you have no water, make tayammum—there’s soil everywhere!
Keep that laziness away!
Water touching your skin always gives you energy.
Remember: The harder it is for you to to do a type of ibadah, the more rewards you’ll get for your efforts in striving to do it.
Ramadan should be a turning point in our lives.
Train yourself to get used to refreshing your wudhu each time it gets nullified.
