Sometimes life takes a big jump.
Gradual but impacting like a crump.
Life moves ahead in a new direction;
Priorities change, followed by every action.
Like the ripples caused by a stone,
It affects the near ones more.
Things once aspired for become a fantasy;
Or rather a sacrificed reality.
The life of this world is but an illusion.
Transient, a delusion!
How meagre the sacrifices will appear,
On the Day when everybody will be in fear.
O soul! Prepare for that Day,
When nobody shall benefit another in any way.
Let go off these alluring desires.
Please thy Creator, to make Paradise the place of your retire.
