Ramadan Reminders 2018: Day 5

⭐⭐⭐
DAY 5
⭐⭐⭐

Assalamu ’alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Bismillah.
You need a job? You need happiness? You need a car? you want to get married? Not only that, do you want: Jannah? You want a good life in this world? You want to be protected from hell fire and the punishment of the grave?
There’s a dua that covers all our needs and that is:
Dhikr of the Day

Train yourself this month to:-
Say:
ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الاخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب القبر وقنا عذاب النار
Rabbanna atinna fee dunya hasanah wafil akhirati hasanah waqinaa a’dhabal qabr waqinaa a’dhaban nar.
Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The supplication most often recited by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was: “Allahumma atina fid-dunya hasanatan, wa fil-akhirati hasanatan, wa qina ‘adhab-annar (O our Rubb! give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the punishment of the Fire).” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
Recite this dua regularly.

Action of the Day
Train yourself this month to:-
1.We hope you are reciting Quraan and reflecting on the meanings. We encourage sisters to keep reciting Quraan as this month is the month of Quraan.
2. What better time to change your character than in Ramadan?
Always be humble and have good character with others, people will remember you for the good character you had with them, it means a lot.
Change starts with YOU!
3.Say your salam! Do you ever stop and think that the greeting that we use daily is something we get rewarded for? Yeah, it can be something small in our eyes but great in rewards scale.
Subhan’Allah!
The Prophet ﷺ explained the reward earned by the one who says salaam, as was reported by al-Nisaa’i in ‘Aml al-yawm wa’l-laylah (368) and al-Bukhaari in al-Adab al-Mufrad (586) and by Ibn Hibban (493). They reported from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that a man passed by the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ whilst he was sitting with some others, and said “Salaam ‘alaykum (peace be upon you).” The Prophet ﷺ said, “[He will have] ten hasanaat (rewards).” Another man passed by and said, “Salaam ‘alaykum wa rahmat-Allaah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allaah).” The Prophet ﷺ said, “[He will have] twenty hasanaat.” Another man passed by and said, “Salaam ‘alaykum wa rahmat-Allaahi wa barakaatuhu (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allaah and His blessings).” The Prophet ﷺ said, “[He will have] *thirty hasanaat.”
So, kindly make it as the first word that comes out of your mouth every morning!
Not Good morning! nor Hi ! Nor صباح الخير
But greet your family with salaam regularly.
What a better start of change than starting it with reflecting and learning from the Words of Allah (Quraan) followed by change in your speech*(usage of islamic words in your daily life)
Replace:
•Fine with Alhamdullillah
•Thank you with Jazakillah khairan
•Hi with Assalamu aleykum warahmatu Allah wabarakatuh
•Bye with Fee Amani Allah
Sometimes we overlook the impact of such simple words have in our lives.
YOU WANT TO CHANGE THEN START WITH YOUR SPEECH!
We are greeting you as well! 😉
Assalamu ’alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh!
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Have a blessed day.
Baaraka Allah feekum.
