DAY 13: HOW THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH ﷺ COMBED HIS HAIR
It is sunnah to begin actions from the right side, even if it is a small act like combing hair. Everyone must learn to wash, clean, comb and dress, beginning with their right side, as mentioned in the hadith above.
The Prophet ﷺ was a very handsome man with his hair well-combed, and his companions (may Allah be pleased with them) used to be in awe of him. Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “I never saw anyone more handsome than the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, with his hair combed, wearing a red two-piece suit.” [Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 32, Hadith 50, Grade: Sahih (Darussalam)]
