DAY 5: THE IZAAR (WAIST-WRAPPER, SARONG) OF THE APOSTLE OF ALLAH ﷺ
Men’s lower garment should reach at least till the middle of the shin, or maybe a little lower. They should take care that it does not reach or cover their ankle. Wearing clothes that reach the ankle is strictly prohibited in Islam. The Prophet ﷺ said that what comes lower than the ankles is in Hell.
Furthermore, if one lets his clothes trail on the ground out of pride and arrogance, those are the people Allah ﷻ will not look at on the Day of Resurrection, and they will be punished.
May Allah ﷻ make us among the people He loves.
