Ramadan Reminders 2022, Day 7

DAY 7: THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH USING VINEGAR

Besides being an excellent condiment, vinegar has great health benefits. It is low in calories and carbohydrates, which makes it good for weight loss. It helps control the blood glucose level, improves digestion, reduces cholesterol level, and keeps the heart healthy. It is also effective in fighting diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer’s, and in treating cough, cold and allergies. In addition, vinegar is a good natural disinfectant and cleaner.

These facts should remind us of the importance of the sunnah. While science is recommending it today, it had already been recommended to us by our beloved Prophet ﷺ 1400 years ago.

May Allah ﷻ help us make the sunnah a part of our life.
