Ramadan Reminders 2018: Day 22

DAY 22

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته،

Assalamu alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,
Train yourself this month to:-

((لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله العلي العظيم))

La haula wala quwatta illa billahil Alliyil Adheem.
It was narrated that Abu Musa said: “The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) heard me saying: ‘ La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (there is no power and no strength except with Allah).’ He said: ‘O ‘Abdullah bin Qais! Shall I not tell you of a word which is one of the treasures of Paradise?’ I said: ‘Yes, O Messenger of Allah.’ He said: ‘Say: La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (There is no power and no strength except with Allah).'” [Sunan Ibn Majah 3824]
Train yourself to:-
Observe Salatul witr in your daily life.
Ali bin Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه) reported: The Witr prayer is not obligatory as the prescribed Salat (prayers), but the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed it as his regular practice (Sunnah). He (ﷺ) said, “Allah is Witr (single, odd) and loves what is Witr. So perform Witr prayer. O followers of Qur’an, observe Witr (prayer).” [At-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud].
Abu Hurairah narrated: “The Messenger of Allah took a covenant from me for three: To not sleep except after performing Witr, to fast three days of every month, and to perform the Duha prayer.” (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 760)
It can be prayed in one rak’ah or 3 rak’aat. Let’s observe this prayer in our daily lives. Just a rak’ah! Let’s not be lazy and stand up and pray it with all courage and contentment that you are doing it to gain Allah’s pleasure.
May Allah help us observe this prayer.😊
Baaraka Allah feekum.
