Ramadan Reminders 2018: Day 16

DAY 16

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته،

Assalamu alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,
Train yourself this month to:-
Recite Suratul Mulk every night and save yourself from the punishment of the grave.
It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allah ibn Mas’ood said: Whoever reads Tabaarak allaahi bi yadihi’l-mulk [i.e., Soorat al-Mulk] every night, Allaah will protect him from the torment of the grave. At the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) we used to call it al-maani’ah (that which protects). In the Book of Allah it is a soorah which, whoever recites it every night has done very well.  (Narrated by al-Nasaa’i, 6/179; classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb, 1475.)
Train yourself this month to :-
Donate used Islamic books or Quraan to your local masjid! Give the gift of knowledge to another person who is seeking it. You will be rewarded, inn shaa Allah.
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: “When a man dies all his good deeds come to an end except three: Ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, and a righteous son who prays for him.” (Sunan anNisa’i Vol. 4, Book 30, Hadith 3681)
You never know who will read from that same book, benefit, and pass it on.
Baaraka Allah feekum.
