To Lie or Not to Lie? What a silly question!
Be brave and courageous and keep your head up and go ahead; tell the truth. Feel the happiness of being sincere!
Here I present to you 4 videos that should encourage you to speak the truth:
1. The first video is about a boy called Talha.
“I Hit My Sister” is an animated short story written by kids for other kids to enjoy and learn a lesson about honesty. Click on the name “Talha” to watch how the story unfolds!
2. This next video will help you understand why it is wrong to lie. It’s a story that kids from all around the world are familiar with. Click here to hear the famous story “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” (This video contains short intro music; parents are advised to lower the volume.)
3. “The Lie-Little Muslims” is an Islamic educational cartoon. It shows you how to behave when you are caught lying. Watch it by clicking here.
4. And finally a very lovely and amusing video about a little girl who decided to stop listening to the lie monster and start speaking the truth. Sing it along and remember it every time you are tempted by the lie monster to utter a lie.

Dear kids,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “You must be truthful. Verily, truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man continues to be truthful and encourages honesty until he is recorded with Allah ﷻ as truthful. And beware of falsehood. Verily, falsehood leads to wickedness and wickedness leads to the Hellfire. A man continues to tell lies and encourages falsehood until he is recorded with Allah ﷻ as a liar.”
