الحلا يحتويها
و الغلا يرتجيها
إبنتي حبيبتي
الله هالله عليها
لا أحد مثلها جائتني
و زينها على شاني
القوافي لا يكفي
تستحق إبنتي فيها
لها قدمت الروايا
و استحت الهدايا
من الشرور تحية
و صعوبة حمية
لأن إبنتي هدية
من إله البرية
مثل القلوب الندية
لو ضمت ترتويها
و نور الشمس تعلى
فوق بدر تجلى
غاية الحسن إبنتي
عنها الوصف وافي
تخجل الزهور منها
و أنا أحبها …
نصيحتي لإبنتي
يحتوي الإخلاق فيها
أعطي تربية مثلي
لأنك معلمة أولادكِ
عيوب و الشك أنتهيها
الفعل أقوى من الكلام
ما أحتاجك مسؤولة
لأن هذه تربيتي أعطيها
أتمنى فتياتكِ مثلها
لأنك إبنتي و أنا أمكِ
يا حفيدتي إنك أبنتها
و رسالتي أعطيها…
A character whose sweetness remains
And love reflects
My daughter, my love,
May Allah be with her.
There is no one who has been like her.
She is deserving, my daughter;
For her I read stories;
She is a blessed gift from Allah.
From every envy, may she be protected,
May every difficulty go away,
Because my daughter is a gift
Allah has blessed me with!
She is, with a heart filled with love,
Just a hug eradicates worries in all;
My daughter, the beautiful,
For you I cannot describe it all!
Even the flowers are shy from her
And I love her…
My Naseehah to you –
Keep the Ikhlaq in you,
Bring up your children with the Tarbiya,
Just the way I did for you.
You are the teacher of your children.
Every doubt and evil, avoid them;
Remember! Actions are powerful than words.
In the Akhirah
I do not want you to be questioned.
This must remain the example of my Tarbiya.
I pray your daughter to be your shadow,
Just as you’re my daughter and I am your mother.
Oh my grandchild! You are her daughter!
This is a message, do pass it to her!
