When there was darkness all around,
Immorality and corruption filled every ground;
Allaah, to Whom belongs the highest veneration,
Sent the light causing darkness’ annihilation.
The light eradicated every act of blasphemy,
The light which was given the title, “Al Mahi”;
The light whom the Messiah called Ahmad,
This light is Rahmatul-lil-‘Aalameen, our Prophet Muhammad!
A mercy to the worlds
Who cried for this Ummah while the world slept?
And made dua’ from the heart’s depth?
Who said, “Be kind to your women”,
During Hajj, in his last sermon?
Who refused to ask for punishment
For the people of Taif and its descendants?
Even when they pelted him with stones,
Chased him out, blood filled his shoes!

يا هــلال الحـج رأيتــك… أسافـر و ربـــي تراني
فــــــي سفري بذكر اللــه تعالى انشغل لساني
استعـــــــدت نفســـــي و روحــــــي و إيماني
قررت وقتــي نظامــي بس إلـــى ربــي منالي
بكــــل رمشـــــة العيـــــن و الكعبـــــــة أمامي
بدمي تجري القوة الحمدللـه هذا ليس خيالي
قلت تكبيرات و تلبيـــــة التكرار… أصل معاني
أشكر ربي بكل الدوائر طوفت و عرفت أحوالي
السماء فيـــه يبرق النجوم و هذا يوم وحداني
سبحان اللــه… المسلمين يعبدون لله… عالي
هجوم الناس فــي العرفة و بينهم أنا و عناني
مَن السوداء أو البيضاء؟… هــذا ليس سؤالي
فــــــي ميـــــدان المزدلفــــة ضيـــق مكاني
نزل العـــروق من رأســــي و تضيــــق مجالي
يوم الفـــرح عشر ذلحجة… عيدي على شاني
يذبح أبوي الخاروف وزعنا إلى مساكين دلالي
الميزان محتـــاج علــى المسلم… عنوان ثاني
قلـــت صميـــم معانــــي الحج فـــي مقالي
كــــل الذنـــــوب فعلــــت و ربـــــــي ناداني
اللــــه يا رحمٰــــن و يا رحيــــــم و ذكره عالي

It was always far fetched,
The very idea
Of reaching my dream destination.
For a fantasy
It remained
Until the miracle happened.
The desiring,
The saving up,
The scrutiny of expenses.
It was all a process
Long and tiring,
But the end
Was worth the wait.

مــن وقــت إلــى وقــت
من أسبوع إلــــى أسابيــــع و يوم إلـــــــى أيامي
تستعجل كل مراحل العمـــر و زمن يجري مكاني
